October 4, 2008 - We participated in the Day of Action by
cleaning Route 6 between the Ramada Inn and Wellington's Pub. The Day of
Action was September 27th, but we postponed the cleanup due to rain. |

July 1, 2008 - The Abington Lions Club donated $2,500 to the
Abington Little League toward their Concession Stand Project. The
estimated cost of the project is $80K.

May 20, 2008 - At the Abington Heights Scholarship Awards and
Reflections night, the Club provided scholarships of $1,000 each to
three students. Michael Le, Kerry Joyce, and Casey Phillips were this
year's recipients. |
